Upcoming Wi-Fi and wired network maintenance in September

This work will require several short downtime intervals and an expected risk period.

Schedule

  • Tuesday 17 September – Up to 45 minutes downtime from 8am

The above work will be considered at risk until 12pm.

How does this work impact me?

During the periods of downtime, users on both the 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ and London campuses will experience a loss of access to the Wi-Fi and wired network connectivity and most University online services, including VPN connectivity for users off-campus. &²Ô²ú²õ±è;

Services affected include:

  • Microsoft 365 services will also be affected and will limit saving/syncing documents to online locations such as OneDrive, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint sites
  • Users off campus will not be able to access any resources on campus as the VPN will not be accessible
